Un des endroits enchanteurs qui a séduit de nombreux peintres, notamment ceux de l’École de Cernay, attirés par la beauté lumineuse des sous-bois, le jeu de ses sources et ses cascades, et le mystère qui entoure la Source aux Fées.

Tiré du bulletin de la "Mémoire de Chevreuse" n°23 (2025-2026), il nous fait découvrir la Source aux Fées et la Butte Ronde de Saint-Forget, un site mêlant légendes locales, vestiges celtes et gallo-romains, et mystères hydrogéologiques.
